  • Mayra Sibrian, owner of Pan de La Selva, isn’t just here to sell you a really (really) good concha, she’s inviting you to learn more about Central American baking culture and challenge the assumptions about who gets to tell a food’s story.

She and her wonderful baker Sam wake up before the rest of Seattle to bake beautifully colorful, Latin American-inspired pan dulce (with the background sounds of classical music and/or true crime podcasts). Mayra welcomes anyone who walks through the door into a world of flavors they may not have tried before. We chatted with Mayra about her panadería, her story, and why spending here really matters. 🫐🫚🌴
